Free Menstrual Products

In November of 2023 you would have received communication regarding the partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan and Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health to provide to 12 million menstrual products to locations where there is a need over the next three years. Recently, this partnership extended for another three years.

Currently, more than 4.5 million free menstrual products, consisting of pads and tampons, are being shipped to school divisions and transition houses across the province. 

Regina Catholic Schools has received the first shipment of products, and these products will be deployed to schools in the coming weeks. Thank you to the Government of Saskatchewan and the Shoppers Foundation for Women's Health.

The intent of this program is to provide access to these products to support students in greatest need. Our school staff will make the products available in a manner that reduces stigma, are gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate, and ensures easy and discreet access.
