Student Subject Selection Procedure
Welcome to the 2025-26 Student Subject Selection.
High School registration Directors Letter
Subject selection forms for grade 8 students were given to all students from the elementary school teachers. If your son/daughter does not attend a feeder school, please complete the online registration from our school website.
Subject Selection for 25/26 Grade 10 -12 Students
General Information: Our guidance counsellors have provided instruction on how to complete subject selection. Each student has been provided with a Subject Selection Form based on the grade they will be promoted to next year. Students were required to fill out the document during the session with the guidance counsellors. Students will then be directed to review the document with their parent(s)/guardian(s) prior to entering classes in MySchoolSask. Links to the Subject Selection Form provided to students are included below.
Note:
- Student Subject Selection was open in MySchoolSask (MSS) from February 26th - March 5th.
- Students were strongly encouraged to read the instructions provided in the Subject Selection Form below and use the resources made available via the links provided to answer questions prior to contacting the guidance counselor. We have made a conscious effort to simplify the subject selection process for students and parents. Please use the tools provided.
- Counselors are available by appointment to discuss prerequisite requirements for post-secondary institutions and provide career counselling. To schedule an appointment, please e-mail either of our counselors with the link below.

- Final decisions on subject selections needed to be made by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, March 5th.
Instructions given to students for 2025-26 course selection
Step 1: Click on the grade you will be attending for the 2024-25 school year. Read and review all information and instructions in the Subject Selection Form.

Step 2: Review MSS Student Instructions: MSS Subject Selection - Student Portal
Step 3: Enter the Student Subject Requests into MSS. Click “Post” when completed.
Step 4: Students are required to print a copy of the graduation checklist and check-off the subjects selected each year to keep track of their graduation progress. Keep this document for your reference throughout grade 10-12.

Advanced Placement Program Information:
At Archbishop M.C. O’Neill Catholic High School, we offer segregated AP courses in Grade 12 English Language Arts, Psychology, Calculus, Computer Science, and Studio Art. These courses follow the Saskatchewan Learning Curriculum in addition to preparing students for the AP exam. Courses will be offered based on sufficient enrollment.
